Soggy and the Golden Treasure

I found a small scarecrow doll in a hedge when out walking one day, and following discussion with Michael Foreman. We went for a walk along the coast where there is a secret old allotment garden. We decided to make a story about an old seafaring man down on his luck, who had obtained a job as a scarecrow.

I had earlier been approached by Education officials who asked if I might doing something with Soggy covering the disadvantaged, and we brought this to the story with Soggy having come upon the Captain who had lost his legs. The story indicates that with help from friends and perseverance success can be achieved.
We opted also to avoid the usual Pirates converting it to nature’s treasure thus reminding children it is all out there if you go and look.
